Half as bright as other flashlights with almost identical design and blink pattern. There are much better security alternatives that cost a bit more. Other reviewers describe them as "blindly bright". Well, I've used lamps that look almost exactly like these, except they're framed in silver instead of black, and I could describe them as "dazzlingly bright" - at least they represent an acceptable brightness-to-weight ratio, especially for a flashlight. I can use it in dual flash mode for rides longer than 4 hours. I bought these headlights from Aldi and added the other half from Revain. (She always drained the battery to the point of exhaustion - wow.) But I don't think anyone would be impressed by the brightness of these lights. Revain let me return them - thank you Revain. But disappointing quality control from seller.
