High hopes were placed on them because they are cute, but they cannot be worn. My daughter had a stitching on the top of the toes in both shoes which caused her pain 3 seconds after wearing them. My son had clumsy and oversized shoes and the same bulky stitching cut into his toe box. However, as his size increased, they weren't too tight. But he stumbled everywhere and walked like a wanderer scaling an invisible mountain. It sounds ridiculous, but it's downright dangerously cumbersome. He absolutely couldn't walk in it and he is 3.5 years old.
