Review on Garmin Forerunner 920XT Replacement Silver by Ishon Prz

My 920XT has been used for almost three years for 4 marathons and thousands of miles of running and cycling. The watch is almost obsolete as it doesn't have a wrist heart rate monitor so I considered throwing it away except it's very accurate for mileage or cycling and time. I bought this strap as a spare because even if I give it away, it needs a strap. The band is an exact replacement for the original and comes with tools and new hardware to remove the old band and install the new one. Since my original tape lasted so long, I'm surprised some reviewers say it has a short life. I can't imagine how they could take it harder than me.
