Review on ECOGARD XC35519C Filter Activated Eliminator by Charles Purnell

I chose the carbon filter version of this filter at the recommendation of an employee at Ecogard technical support decided. However, the filter is about 1/4" longer and stiffer than the non-carbon Acura TLX (Honda branded) filter. This made installation EXTREMELY difficult as the lid became bent, making installation almost impossible. First gave I up but the filter I replaced was so dirty after just a year that I decided to try again to have the Ecogard replaced I think the non-carbon version does not there will be such a problem.very disappointed because the company's support department was very responsive when I called them before I could esen filter ordered. They answered like a second call and it was real live support person. I'll call her about it. (That was Sunday i did the install.) & i will update this review if needed.
