I am using this nichrome wire to make my own template burner tips for my Burnmaster pyrograph machine. As long as I don't put too much wire in the new tip, this wire works fine and is a lot cheaper than buying a 19 gauge from Burnmaster. Let me draw several lines at once. It had a lot of wires in it and the Burnmaster couldn't turn it orange which was odd for its 130 watt output but it still burned well and it was the only one I'd made it had inches of wire in it so would to heat a large amount of nichrome. I also like that the 18 gauge is slightly larger in diameter than the regular 19 gauge used by Burnmaster, which makes it much easier for me to straighten the wire for some tips. It doesn't seem like a lot, 0.9mm for 19 gauge compared to 1mm thickness for 18 gauge, but it's a lot when flattened out.
