Strong as iron armor, light as feather armor
Bought for a diving trip in Bonaire. (Go there! Go now!) I knew I should buy a Pelican case as soon as I saw my dive buddy's Pelican on a previous trip. However, it is a full-fledged pelican and weighs 37 pounds, which is almost your entire 50-pound limit! (>50 is marked as "heavy".) This new AIR case weighs only 17 pounds, and even after I loaded all my gear, it only weighed 39 pounds. The latches are strong, strong and reliable. As an additional measure, you can fasten the metal loops, but this is not necessary. I look forward to seeing this beast covered in street stickers and clawed to hell.
