I use this product to listen to conversations and music. I hide the radio in my bra and the headphones are a good size. (This is just my personal setup). That way the cords are in my shirt or blouse and don't interfere with my work. I gave "sound quality" a bad rating ONLY because of my headphones. I have cheap headphones. I will be investing in a couple more headphones in the near future. I have tried 2 Amazon radios and this Phillips is the best. the reception is very good, nice smooth body, light but durable. I haven't had any problems with it since I got it and I use it 5 days a week, 6 hours a day. takes 2 AAA batteries and lasts me 3 weeks. I will add that I take out the batteries before putting them away the next day. Too bad I didn't get this one before I bought the other 2 before. As I said, the reception is excellent. I don't need an antenna at all. From me to everyone considering this radio, BUY IT! I love it.
