This radio is small and light, which might be a plus, but it also seems that the performance isn't great either. I had trouble tuning into many channels since most of the radio stations in our area are about 30 miles from me. There's an earbud jack, which is a good thing because I've had a hard time hearing it from more than a few feet away. I use this product to listen to conversations and music. I hide the radio in my bra and the headphones are a good size. (This is just my personal setup). That way the cords are in my shirt or blouse and don't interfere with my work. I gave "sound quality" a bad rating ONLY because of my headphones. I have cheap headphones. I have really good reception. To be honest my other pocket radios come and go, can't lie down etc. This guy works like a champ. It's very light and thin. Sound? abominable. If you could "harden" a "tinny" sound, boost the high frequencies and physically remove all bass from the incoming radio waves. I have dozens of different pocket radios.
