This radio is small and light, which might be a plus, but it also seems that the performance isn't great either. I had trouble tuning into many channels since most of the radio stations in our area are about 30 miles from me. There's an earbud jack, which is a good thing because I've had a hard time hearing it from more than a few feet away. The design slopes downwards so it doesn't fit well and it would be great if there was some sort of clip you could use to attach it to yourself/clothes somewhere, but there isn't. It doesn't really work for what I wanted - listening from outside when I'm on my patio or garden. I dug up an old Walkman radio and it worked way better than this thing. I think I'll keep it in my desk drawer in case of an emergency or if the power goes out. I couldn't comment on the battery life as I couldn't use it enough to see how long the batteries would last.
