Now I have it in both of my aquariums. As the temperature dropped, I needed a way to ensure my heaters were doing their job. I have these devices that constantly display the temperature so I can look at them while feeding and quickly check if everything is ok. I even changed the temperature setting on my heater and immediately noticed a change in the temperature reading. Before that I had floating thermometers that wouldn't read - I'm not too concerned about accurate readings but they are needed to make sure my heater isn't broken. because in winter it can be very cold in my house. Even though the battery life is a couple of months, it's worth it for me - once I get warmer temperatures I turn the display off and on again when needed, which I doubt since these batteries are very cheap. Update December 30th: I've been using it for over 2 months now with the same battery and always on display - I'll be buying 1 more for the new aquarium I'm setting up.
