Works great and good quality BUT make sure you understand this on the Celsius temp gauge. UPDATE (05/17/16) The seller contacted me about a problem with Celsius and offered me a free replacement with Fahrenheit. The replacement came the next day and works great! The item was defective. When you moved the cable sensor I got erroneous readings like Low, -9, -43. What I didn't like (which isn't mentioned in the description) is that the lock is on all the time. There is no on/off switch. If you're looking for a thermometer that has it always on, I'm sure this would be a great option. I use this to check the temperature in my camping fridge in the summer (it's great to be able to see the temperature without opening the door) and to ferment sourdough bread in winter. I don't like being bombarded with a bunch of Bluetooth signals all the time. In any case, it worked great. About a year. Now it just reads "Lo”. 3 guesses where the sensor probe is. Mom always told me to let it sit for at least 3 minutes, which I did. Then I let it sit for a while longer to see if it changed. It didn't happen and has stabilized at that number. It's pretty much right in my book. It looks like the sensor is updating about every 30 seconds and as the sensor changes temperature the temperature will increase until it reaches equilibrium. This is not an immediate measure.
