I'm the kind of woman who always keeps a couple of European size pillows with bolsters on her bed. I can't remember exactly when this became a "rule" for me, but it has been for many years. I like a good bed with crispy percale sheets, so I shop around for bargains, probably more than I should. Some very good sheets do not have matching duvet and pillowcases. I tend to use a white color palette, often with touches of gray embroidery for my bed. My solution to the problem of not having a matching duvet and inserts for my favorite bedding set was a very nice white percale duvet with 2 matching white Euro Shams percale inserts. I'm worried about these panties getting a little ripped because the solid white comforter and pillowcases might also end up on the bed in the guest room at my house. What a great idea. I came across these beauties on Revain. They are a beautiful bright white color and are made from a high thread count Egyptian cotton which makes the fabric slightly thicker and stronger than regular percale. They match my 26" x 26" pillows perfectly. They are also very inexpensive. Any Euro Sham fan will tell you that unlike regular pillowcases, Euro Shams almost always don't come in packs of two. The rule is that you only get one fake per pack. But luckily these well made and durable pads come in 2 packs as shown here for $19.99. Great price for a great pair of shams. Recommend!
