Sturdy canvas feel, unlined. I got the large so I can wear it over a light sweater or hoodie, or as a third layer (t-shirt, flannel, this)Great olive color. 4 real pockets. Zips and snaps, both work easily.I got the large, I'm a smidge over 5'2 and it hits me at my hips. sleeves are just past my wrist (but not too long), and I have room in the chest and shoulders (37" chest plus layers) I think a medium would have fit great too, except I wanted it roomier for layering so I can hopefully get more wear out of it.
