I received this sports camera for taking photos and videos under water. The waterproof case works very well. No water leakage. 2k and 1080p videos are fine. It is possible to choose the level of video compression (quality). Audio is recorded at a sampling frequency of 32 kHz. This is way better than others that only record at 8kHz sample rate. People can be heard in the uploaded video, even though the camera is in a waterproof case. The microphone is very sensitive. The 4 angle options are the same as the default zoom, but you need to go through a few menu steps to change it. If it is on, it will start recording automatically after a few seconds. This cannot be disabled. There is no separate LED to display the recording process. You have to rely on the front LCD (after the rear display goes to sleep) to know it's still recording. I am happy with this camera as a replacement for the more expensive GoPro. To give you an idea of the data rate.
