My mom has back surgery, knee replacement, is getting older and is struggling to find a nice, comfortable spot in her house and car. She usually puts a pillow under herself, even on the couch and in her chair, because she cannot sit for long because her sciatica is slowly showing itself. I gave it to her for Christmas and she is very happy. It doesn't break as often as cheap throw pillows, offers great support and is portable. She pushes it from chair to chair and I'm sure she likes to carry it in the car, because now her hips, legs and back are bothered even on short journeys. The bottom is grippy and has a strap, making it car-friendly, and the strap doubles as a carry handle if you want to carry it from chair to chair or house to house. I'll probably buy a few more for convenience.
