I did some research to find a carpet protector that doesn't leave glue on the carpet and this turned out to be the best option. Luckily I wasn't disappointed. I moved into a brand new house and within a few days of moving needed carpeting for two flights of stairs. This plastic stayed on both stairs for 7 days and was perfect when I took it off. It's sticky, but not too sticky. He likes to easily cling to himself, so take your time when laying him on the rug. Highly recommended!
