My intention for this towel hanger, was to attach it to the front of my farmhouse sink to hold a dish towel. I didn't read the dimensions, it's too large for that, and the towel would hang too low. Also, the towel rack doesn't lay flat against whatever surface you're attaching it to. There is a plastic stop that prevents the towel rack from laying flat, so it sticks out about 2-3 inches.The suction cup is super powerful, I had a hard time releasing it from the front of the sink. Once we realized it wasn't going to work for my kitchen towels, we tried it out in the bathroom, stuck to the shower glass to hold a bath towel. The plastic hanging rod wasn't strong enough for that.This does look like it may work well as a paper towel holder. Hubby will be taking it out to the garage to attach to his beer fridge.
