Note* You may need an Xbox One Headset Adapter. That depends on your controller. If your controller has a regular 3.5mm jack (this controller was released in June 2015), no adapter is needed. If your controller doesn't have a 3.5mm jack but has a USB port, you'll need an adapter. There is an official Xbox One adapter and a Turtle Beach version. Both adapters work. I ordered the abstracts a week before they were published. My fourth Xbox One stereo headset just broke. I really wish they had been released sooner. I love her. They are very comfortable. I have long gaming sessions and other headsets would hurt my ears but they don't. I even started wearing them while using the YouTube app or watching TV on the One. The volume is very good and loud. I used to have to turn the volume all the way up to hear and be heard, but now I'd say I turned it down halfway and people can hear me perfectly. The microphone is better than other headphones. Before my mic picked up everything from the TV volume to someone knocking on my door. Even my ceiling fan and air conditioner could be heard (and they're not that loud), but that's not a problem with this mic. It picks up sounds when they're really loud, like a TV set at a volume above 30, but it filters out bad sounds well. For the quality and price of these headphones, they are worth it.
