I'm satisfied. I used the microphone out with an RCA adapter to stream audio from my 27" iMac to my stereo. It worked, but I often had "buzzing" or other problems when the cables moved (adjusting the monitor wobbles the headphone jack). When this device is connected to a USB port, this problem is gone and the sound is much clearer. On a Mac, use the Audio Midi Setup app in the Utilities folder to select it as your USB audio device. It will not automatically connect your audio via USB, you need to plug it in, then go to the app mentioned and select "USB Audio Device".
