Review on 🐈 Armarkat Premium Pine Wood Cat Tree Condo Scratching Post Furniture – Tall, Sturdy, Light Wood, Sisal Rope – 36 inches (S8502) by Brandy Robinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good choice for a home with multiple cats.

I bought this scratching post as a gift for a friend who has seven cats. It is a large, very tall tree with a remarkably compact base. If you count the lids of the boxes, there are eight places for the cat to sit. Wide, shallow shelves allow one cat to rest there while another can use the same shelf to climb onto a higher perch. It accommodates different cat preferences - at the top for those who love height, practical boxes for those who like to lie in a den, wide shelves for those who like to stretch out or simply watch the world go by. Cat's claw cloth, and all poles are covered with scratching ropes. Cat hair won't stick to it like it does to fabric or carpet, which is good if you have a long-haired cat. The overall impression is very clean and modern. The cats wobble a bit as they jump up and down, but there's nothing serious and there's no risk of tipping over. My friend uses a wheelchair and the octagonal base means she can maneuver without the wheels catching in the corner of the base. , as happened with her old scratching post, which had a square base. Place it against the wall with the wide edge of the "D” shelf and the "C” box out of the flow of traffic and there is nothing protruding beyond the base to trip over. Assembling was very easy if you sort your parts by type in advance and pay attention to the directional diagrams. To attach the top case "F" you need a step stool. Collect it where you want to use it. The easiest way is to unpack the box by the door and then take the parts to the room where you plan to use them. Also make sure you have a side with wide indentations at the screw holes for the "A" base. to the floor as this ensures that the metal screw heads do not touch the floor and the wood is supported by the entire base.

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons
  • Not bad
