About a month ago I ordered the 2TB Barracuda. It was bad right in front of the goal. Makes an audible click that can be heard across the room during movie playback. When I called Revane later to tell them what was going on. They showed me pretty quickly that there was nothing they could do. "Why did it take you almost a month to decide to report it?" Mainly. Why does it matter? On the second place. I was sick. So I called Seagate directly. They were much more responsive and after trying a few redundant technical diagnostics they decided to return the product for free. (Except for the $1 deduction they put on my card when they sent me a new product so I could transfer my details and send the old one back). Everything was fine until I migrated the data and ran Crystaldiskinfo only to find that they had sent me an older, slower model. I'm currently on hold with them for almost an hour.
