Slightly disappointed

We got this a few months ago and I love it. i love colors But I don't know if anyone else had this problem, but they just don't absorb water. The coaster stuck to the bottom of my cup every time. So I flip it over and use it that way since the cork is at the bottom. Would I buy them again? Probably no
