I was very pleased with this item when it arrived. It is packed in a cardboard box and is easy to open. The adjustable book/canvas support is very well made in my opinion. He is very sturdy and this 8 year old and his grandma did a great job coloring his new adult coloring book. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 as others have stated that the box is sticky to get out. There isn't a small handle or grip so it's difficult to open and if you agree with others you have to be careful to pull it straight evenly and the same goes for pulling it all the way out when you put it in bring back the nest. However, he was very pleased with it and thanked me repeatedly. Oh, I should mention that he LOVES the leather carry handle and shared with us all the awesome places he plans to carry his new 'table'.
