tl;dr: With a little tweaking, your guests (and you) will appreciate that it looks cool. However, don't expect it to last for centuries. Details: Assembly was easy. Each piece was clearly labeled and the directions were great this time. There were extra screws etc. And it looks really beautiful. Please note that if there are minor scratches, you can touch them up yourself with wood stain and wood stain. I also used some flat metal L-brackets on the back to make the whole thing a bit stronger. I was also planning to put some angle brackets in there, but it turned out to be unnecessary. Sounds great, but why only three stars? Well, one of the legs I received was 1/2 inch shorter than the other. Instead of looking for a replacement from the original company, I took the gamble and ordered mid-century modern chrome legs, which ended up looking good and adding extra strength to the console. If you read other reviews, you can assume that you are in a similar situation. Be prepared to be creative or argue with the manufacturer. ==
