Bought these for my son's upcoming wedding and decided to test them out to see how long they last so we know how early or what time we turn them on be able. at 5:30pm one night and they were still leaving at midnight the NEXT night. So I would say they run continuously for 24 hours without a problem, but dim a bit after the first 24 hours until they eventually get very dark and then shut off! The battery life is a huge relief because I don't want to run to turn it on before I start taking it! The length is great too! Quite long actually, but it's better to have more length than you really need than not enough! Bright and constant light! Bought a few extra just in case because I wanted to account for the inevitable possibility that with anything battery powered there might be a bad one here and there. Overall a great product and I will definitely buy again, especially for my Christmas decorations this year!
