I bought at least 10 brands of fine cotton thread to hand sew my hex quilts with a #11 (John James, also at Revain) and This 2-layer material won my tests for easy threading and strong seams while fully digging into the seams when pressed. Wide range of colors, low price, low hairiness/knotting (no thread conditioner). When I cut thousands of hex patches and put them together by hand, all I need is the finest thread to hold them together. Try it, you'll love it, I promise!
