Review on Speaker Grill Cloth Fabric Repair by Tommy Rao

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Only for making speaker grills or other places where sound needs to pass.

This is a type of plastic jersey that is quite stretchy in one direction and slightly stretchy in the other. It's dense enough that almost all light is visible from the other side. So if the speaker enclosure is dark inside, it will basically hide what's behind it. I used to "fill in" the large hole in the case that housed the subwoofer. I built a wooden frame just slightly larger than the hole and attached this fabric with 3M Super 77 spray adhesive. I used a soldering iron to melt the holes in the fabric to match the mounting holes I had pre-drilled in the wooden frame . bottom line? Very nice closet!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Damaged
