Review on Sloan C 100500 K Flush Cartridge White by Luke Cotton

Fixed a leaky toilet, saved hundreds of people trying to fix it. Easy installation! Includes water inlet filter and platypus! I was missing an input filter, now it's built in. Sloan recommends running the water briefly after removing the old cartridge and before installing a new cartridge to clear debris from the pressure tank. It is also recommended to turn the cartridge counterclockwise first to insert the cartridge to avoid stripping the threads. These steps are not listed in the package directions, so this may not be critical. If you have one of these tanks, check the recall. The pressure tank can explode, destroying the toilet bowl and possibly causing injury. Sloan provides the parts free of charge to prevent this. My toilet was part of the recall.
