I just LOVE this filling! Before that, I used Ultra Premium cat litter for years. While it clumps well, it doesn't so much mask odors that might make a room stink, even if we scoop every day. So I looked for an alternative and found this one. I slowly transferred the litter, starting with 1/4 of the new litter and going up to 3/4 of the old litter, slowly adding more with each scoop. I ended up throwing out the old pen and replacing it with a new one. My cat has adapted well. I have had this litter for 2 months now. What I love about this litter is how well it naturally locks in the smell of feces and urine. I don't smell it at all! Even when I scoop from above, I only feel wood. As for clumping, it does NOT clump like their old filler, but I expected that from a natural product, so not a complaint, just an observation. Clumps but in smaller pieces. By the way, you need a good shovel with large holes. I bought the wire from Revain and it works fine. Now I actually wanted to buy this filler again and again, but one thing is close to my heart. This filler comes in a plastic bag. I would prefer if it came in a box so as not to add even more waste to the environment. I know that not everyone is looking for it, but I find it important myself. It's just my 2 cents. The litter itself still gets 5 stars, but I'm not a big fan of the packaging, that's all. A competitor of this litter of the same type sells it in a box so I will be switching BUT if this brand ever changes the packaging I will be back because I love the smell.
