Too expensive and dirty

I usually buy pine pellet litter from seller Joe but didn't want to go to the store so I tried this variety. The smell is excellent, fairly neutral and woody. It's so light it slides into all corners of the tray after my cat walks in and why I end up writing a review is because it's so dirty. His crumbs are all over our house. We have a rug that catches a lot of dirt right out of the litter box but wow it's dirty. After a few days we had to clean the whole house just because the crumbs were…

BEST LITTER EVER

Since 2001, cats have only been indoors, which means they've spent 17 years dealing with litter boxes in a small house. I wish I had always known about this litter! This is by far the best I've ever used and I've tried many of the most popular, most expensive, and most popular types. This litter: 1. Eliminates odor, nothing else will. It even has a light, refreshing scent of natural wood.2. Super light. An 11 pound sack is huge compared to an 11 pound clay fill box. Moving a full box is very…

Love it but wish the packaging was more sustainable

I just LOVE this filling! Before that, I used Ultra Premium cat litter for years. While it clumps well, it doesn't so much mask odors that might make a room stink, even if we scoop every day. So I looked for an alternative and found this one. I slowly transferred the litter, starting with 1/4 of the new litter and going up to 3/4 of the old litter, slowly adding more with each scoop. I ended up throwing out the old pen and replacing it with a new one. My cat has adapted well. I have had this…

Best filler out there

I've tried almost all natural fillers (as well as many common types) and this is CRAZY when it comes to odor masking - and it's odorless! It also has a lot less tracking than other types (e.g. World's Best) as the pellets are quite large and heavy. You'll need a dustpan with moderately wide slots, but they're easy to find. Very low dust! My only complaint is that it doesn't stick very firmly. But the little bits of urine soaked in urine that fall off the clump and slip between the cracks? I…

Kettle? Or a teapot smash party? This is later.

I was fed up with the last kitty litter I used for two years and felt that its quality had changed (too dusty, litter flying everywhere, etc.). The formula itself seemed to have changed, so I decided to try something new. I have an older cat (Maine Coon) who is just as easy to groom and gentle to change as she comes in (he looks more like a dog than a cat). Almost everything fits him. Then I have a younger cat who can be a bit more picky. I saw so many good reviews about this product on…

SmartCat vs. Weruva: Cat Litter and Hacking

I'm not sure how many people will buy SmartCat All Natural Cat Litter with it, but if you're here, here's my take on it. We used SmartCat but decided to give it a try. The litter is larger because the pieces are granules. It doesn't track as much as SmartCat, but it does track a little. Instead of spreading it all over the room next to the tray and some rooms outside of it, we just get a few pellets in the same room as the tray. It doesn't clump as well as the SmartCat, but it sifts well enough

Pros
  • Hands-Free Operation
Cons
  • There Are Cons

As for kitty litter.... Well, let's just say, over the years I've literally walked the gamut! Out of sheer frustration with fillers that make empty promises and in my relentless search for something more sustainable, I recently tried Hinoki Wood & Green Tea Filler. The price was almost a deal breaker, but I argued that it might just be the logical choice if it works as suggested in the reviews and stated in the usage description. So I decided to give it a try. First: It sticks together…
