I was fed up with the last kitty litter I used for two years and felt that its quality had changed (too dusty, litter flying everywhere, etc.). The formula itself seemed to have changed, so I decided to try something new. I have an older cat (Maine Coon) who is just as easy to groom and gentle to change as she comes in (he looks more like a dog than a cat). Almost everything fits him. Then I have a younger cat who can be a bit more picky. I saw so many good reviews about this product on different forums that I decided to give it a try. I stared at the price but thought it was worth it considering all the positives the company is promoting regarding the filler. Spring. I didn't find any of them true. It was dirtier (broke into pieces on the floor which would make a much bigger mess) and a lot smellier after the cats used it in their toilet. For example, urine doesn't actually sink or sink, it just sticks together. And then when the cats try to bury it, the pellets will fly all over the place (then spread all over the floor and make a mess). My significant other who has seen several different types of kitty litter over the years for our 14 year old Maine Coon even commented on this to me. He has never expressed his opinion on kitty litter. At the end of the third day he mentioned how much he didn't like it and we had to switch to something else. I pointed out that we had 2 bags left (we bought a few first because I really believed all the positive reviews) and he just wanted to get rid of them. I pointed out the much higher price and that it would be a waste, but he said he didn't want to bother with it anymore because of the pollution and smell. I was shocked as he had never expressed his opinion on anything like this before. Please save your money - I know there are so many great perks advertised but I found them inaccurate. If you have two cats (one very picky) and the other cat never notices these things, you know it's REALLY not good. Save your money! Using this stuff is definitely not a teapot party - it's a teapot house demolition party!
