This shampoo is made in South Korea. It's widely recognized that South Korean beauty and personal care products set a gold standard that's hard to beat. This shampoo is no different. The first thing I noticed when using it was the wonderful aroma of green tea. This is one of my favorite scents. My wife loves this scent so much that she uses some creams and lotions just because they smell like green tea. In the case of this shampoo, it's not overwhelming...it's spot on. The professional perfumer who created the fragrance did not fail. Mint extracts have a pleasant effect; the scalp feels a slight refreshing tingling sensation. The feeling, like the aroma, is not overwhelming. I love that the pH is specially formulated to maintain the natural pH of your hair and scalp. It cleans well without affecting the natural barriers of the hair and scalp. It has served as a good "blank canvas" to work with my other curly hair products. The product lathers well so you only need to use a small amount each time you wash your hair. Coming to the price: Yes, it's a bit pricey compared to pharmacy shampoos. However, it is much cheaper than salon hair care products. If you are looking for a natural shampoo that gently cleanses your hair without stripping it, this is probably a good choice for you.
