Stopped working after 5 months

I was able to have this remote cut and programmed by a Toyota dealer. It was very accessible. I have a 2014 Prius C One and this key worked on this model. Unfortunately, the remote control stopped working after only 5 months. I put a new battery in and still nothing. I'll update my review when the retailer tells me what's wrong with it.
