Review on Razer Basilisk Ultimate Hyperspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse with Charging Dock: Fastest Gaming Mouse Switch - 20K DPI Optical Sensor - Chroma RGB - 11 Programmable Buttons - 100 Hour Battery - Classic Black by Chad Young

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Coming from Logitech G502 owners with big hands

Nothing happens 5 stars - hence 4 star rating. I haven't seen anything that compares this to the G502 on Reddit (maybe I just don't. I think I'm searching hard enough) so I just wanted to post something here, as a totally unofficial reviewer but as a consumer. The way I play games my wrist doesn't usually move, or very little if that gives you any idea of how I hold mice. The Basilisk feels very similar to the G502, almost the same shape, which is good because the G502 is very comfortable in my large hand. mouse buttons. I used to use the Deathadder Elite and to be honest I just hated them because the left and right buttons were so soft. This mouse uses a different switch and feels clickier, much like the G502. In truth, the G502 has more click and I think it also has a cleaner click (the click seems shorter and sharper than the Basilisk), but the Basilisk click is close enough to the G502's click that it doesn't work for me worried at all. In terms of actuation force, I think the G502 needs a bit more, but the Basilisk is fine. The most important thing for me was that it didn't feel smooth at all, and it doesn't! Middle click (mouse wheel) is terrible. Just don't use it. Sure, RGB is better than anything else, and the included charging cradle works well (and includes settings for changing the lighting based on different charge levels). I've owned the G502 for almost 2 years and was curious to see how wireless mice have changed since I had the last mouse (another Logitech mouse I think 702 or something) in 2015. So far I haven't noticed any problems playing League of Legends (I use a controller for FPS) and feel pretty free if the cable doesn't hold it back :-) Overall I'm happy with the (expensive) mouse. I think if I could change something about it, it would be the ability to charge it on this cool mouse pad that Razer makes, which charges another of their wireless mice (forget their name). Otherwise I think it's great and I think I'll get it to replace my G502.
