A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

My first winter on Velcro, I used to go only on spikes, this time I took linden on the advice of friends. Initially, there were concerns about driving without spikes, but was not disappointed with the new tires. First impressions at the beginning of the season, when mostly white riding on asphalt, were great! Compared to spikes, Velcro has many times better handling on asphalt. Plus - silence! Then winter came, and this year it pleased us with frost and snow. In real winter weather, I did not experience any problems with rubber. The snow handling is excellent. Handling on snow is excellent - movement on descents, ascents, in turns is confident and predictable. Braking is adequate. In frost down to minus 25 it never tans, the rubber remains soft and all the characteristics of behavior on the road are preserved, which was noted above. Also in the case of thaws, when there is wet porridge under the wheels, it is also quite normal. The most difficult moments in winter are, of course, ice. But this phenomenon, let's say, is episodic and infrequent. In comparison with spikes, Velcro loses here, of course, you can’t deceive physics. But the most important thing is that even on ice, if you have already managed to get on it, rubber allows you to adequately feel all the movements of the car and, accordingly, understand how to drive. That is, if you have certain skills in general winter driving and accuracy, ice is not a hindrance.

Pros
  • Excellent grip characteristics. Excellent predictability in handling and braking.
Cons
  • When ice has its own difficulties, after all, the lack of spikes on the behavior on ice affects. But with the ability to drive and accuracy, the tires cope well with driving on ice as well.
