I recently purchased the Deschem 250Ml Pyriform Separatory Funnel with PTFE Stopcock for our laboratory and I must say, I am impressed with its performance. The product arrived in excellent condition and was well-packed. The funnel itself is made of high-quality borosilicate glass which makes it sturdy and durable. I also appreciate the PTFE stopcock which ensures precise control of the liquid flow during separation. The funnel's design is pyriform, which allows for easy separation and extraction of liquids, making it perfect for our laboratory use. It is also easy to clean as it can handle high-temperature sterilization. My only concern with this product is that the stopcock can sometimes leak if not tightened enough. This can be a bit frustrating and time-consuming if we have to redo the experiment. Also, the funnel can be slightly unstable if the liquid inside the funnel is not balanced properly. These flaws limit its efficiency and accuracy, hence my four-star rating. Overall, the Deschem Separatory Funnel is a reliable lab equipment that serves its purpose well. It may have a few flaws, but I still recommend it as a valuable addition to any laboratory.
