Graduated Erlenmeyer Glass Flask Set With Narrow Mouth - 500Ml Capacity Review

I use to make my homemade salad dressing so I can make what I need and have it ready. I travel a lot so sometimes a need a day, a few days or a weeks worth of dressing and these are great for that, making a simple salad is no longer a project as the dressing was the longest part. No sense using overly processes and unhealthy supermarket brands when you can make a super healthy dressing with extra light tasting olive oil, vinegar (3-1) ratio, with a big dose of parsley, teaspoon of lemon, pinch…

"Why do you need that thing” wifey immediately asks when I open the box and pull out the beaker.Well - 6 months later there are so many things we have used this for in the kitchen !The glass is thick and at 1000ml holds lots of liquid , my go to for making cold brewed coffee and when available we use it for a wine decanter. It holds a bottle with room for swirling to aerate and looks really cool on the table.It is an easy 5 star for me, and I even think wifey now likes it!

Looks good, but it seems like I got a used one. Stain inside the flask (as shown in picture 1). Also not quite clean outside (picture 2) and has minor scratches near the top (picture 3). So — I cannot use this flask as my water bottle.

I bought this specifically for making beer starters in for homebrewing. The graduations of the outside seem to be pretty accurate but I measure my starter prior to putting it in the flask. Happy with my purchase.

Stopper will absorb anything it comes into contact with. Its a spongy material that doesnt fit well or stop well and like I said, seems to soak up whatever it stops. If thats something acidic or basic, it will probably cause issues in multiple ways. Thickness of the glass is pretty good, but dont market a stopper and include something this crappy as said stopper.

I bought this to parcel out 1/2 bottles of wine. It’s perfect. Sturdy material. Solid stopper. Attractive. Easy to clean. Truth be told, if I owned a restaurant, I would buy these in bulk as a funky conversation piece!

This makes a perfect wine decanter. Inexpensive, sturdy, easy to pour from, and easy to clean and dry. If you have an extra hundred bucks or so be my guest to buy a Riedel and impress your guests, but this baby does the job and has its own lab geek appeal.

I understand that the measurements on the flask are approximate however, I filled my farberware measuring cup up to 500 ml exact twice and it still only came out to about 950 ml. In the flask. Should the measurement be that far off?

Great price. Sturdy. Used as prop with dry ice, water and food color. My daughter is graduating in a few days with a bachelor degree in chemistry!

I can't attest to the accuracy because I haven't measured that but it takes heating and cooling very well and has been great for yeast starters.

I needed to use this for my graduation photos, but it arrived completely shattered. I was so irritated and I really needed this.

Whether you are using them for little flower vases for little blooms from your yard, for concocting solutions for your cocktails, or any other mad science, these are perfect.

Cheap stir plate, but looses power after running for a while struggles to mix after a few hours of running. That's my feedback!

Quality seems to be good. No noticeable defects. I boiled wort for a yeast starter on my gas stove without any issues. Proceeded to chill it in cold water after letting it cool for a bit. So far so good.
