The suit looked great on her but the material is thin

I bought this for my tall skinny 11 year old daughter to go karting. The suit looked great on her, but the material is thin. We run once a week from May to October. The crotch ripped in July and I sewed it back together. Now on September 21st the zipper broke. Very disappointing.
