Picked up for live vocals. Mickey's are great. They look good, feel good and sound good. The best way to describe the Shure SM58 is that they are reliable in every way. They're not amazing at anything (except maybe durability?), but they're reliable at almost everything. I would say these mics are the industry standard. You can't go wrong with them. My only advice is that you buy it from a reputable seller as there are many fake Shure mics out there.
