Review on DEPO 330-2016PXAS Fog Light Set Replacement - Aftermarket Product (Not OEM) by Josh Andrews

This is the third or fourth Depo product I have owned and this is the first time I am really disappointed. I installed several Depo headlights and Depo fog lamp housings on a previous car over 10 years ago. I ended up selling the car to a friend and still see it from time to time and the depos is holding up great and looking almost new. Unfortunately, this does not apply to this F150 / Expedition fog light housing. They look great when new, and what those fog lights should have looked like from the factory IMO (why I gave 2 stars and not 1). But for me, over the course of a year of occasional use (which seems like a lot less time than most people) the end result is what you see in the photos. Obviously any halogen bulb is too much for these cases, as mine fell prey to the same melting issues that caused the screen to melt and now rattle freely within the case. I was considering just taking the lens cap off and taking off the protective shield, but for now I'm just going a completely different route with the fog lights. It would be possible to prevent these bulbs from melting if they used LED bulbs instead of halogens, but I'm not sure if that will save them.
