I have a lot of old C-7 ceramic bulbs that I pull out every Christmas. This supply will slowly run out as the bulbs burn out or break, and I'll have to devour other filaments. Also, there are only so many bulbs you can string together before the fuse blows. So this year I switched completely to LEDs. All of my blow molds have LEDs and I now have 3 strands of these lights. The lights are bright and the clips are very good quality. Attach them to the gutter and they won't fall off. The only problem is that all the plugs in 2019 are not grounded. All light guides may not be grounded. I haven't done anything in the last ten years to compare it. But every other piece of jewelry I own has a large prong and a small prong, and this one has only two small prongs. This is normal for the male end, but means your SOL is attaching something else to the female end. Maybe this is for security reasons. I have no idea. Since when has safety been a concern for outdoor Christmas lights? I ended up snapping off the third connector on the adapter and managed to add some blow molds to the other end, but I still disagree with that. If it lights up, I'll admit my mistake and add a fifth star to my rating.
