As a dedicated aquarium owner I was excited to try out this phosphate remover in hopes of improving the water quality for my fish. However, I was sorely disappointed with the product's performance... As a result of my tests, I determined that the Fluval Hagen 107 Phosphate Remover did not remove any measurable amount of phosphates from my tanks water. The only positive aspect was the ease OF installation, but that hardly makes up for the lack of results. Save your money and look for other Pet Supplies that actually work..
- Effectively removes phosphate from aquarium water, preventing excessive algae growth and improving water clarity.
- Requires regular replacement of the filter media to maintain effectiveness, which can increase ongoing costs for aquarium maintenance.
