Excellent carrier. It definitely took me a second to figure out how to assemble the zippers (my "cage" part turned out to be inside out) but when I did it only took a few seconds, to assemble it. Looks really cool and has a nice fluffy cushion so your pet doesn't stand on anything hard. I'm a little concerned that one day one of the zippers will break and my cat will fall out, get scared and run away, but so far the zipper feels pretty solid and I only use it on short trips back and forth. Automobile. I wish there was some sort of backup buckle or something in case that ever happens. I also think this carrier is not suitable for those who have a pet that "tolerates a fight". My kitty doesn't get overly excited when carried around, but he can definitely put his hands through holes. I think theoretically if they tried to grab the material it could break. But so far it's working great for me.
