I don't know if they have updated it since I bought it in 2016 but I can say I'm very happy with it! Not the loudest or the best sound (although it's by no means a fool!) but the most important thing it has is durability! I used it mainly as a shower speaker and even though I didn't dry it all the time it lasted a long time! I've also dropped it many times and it still chugs! Only exposed screws tend to rust and the charging port cover could be more secure and durable. If you're looking for something to primarily connect to your phone in the shower or pool for whatever reason, then this is your speaker! Although I don't know how well it will handle a long dive or a 6ft+ drop.
