Review on Weruva Kitchen Salmon Gravy Pouch by Susannah Whitebird

This used to be my cat's favorite food. He literally swallowed every bite and was particularly picky. Now something has changed as can be seen in my photo. The food has darkened (see the plate on the right in the photo) and he doesn't even bite. I called Weruva and they said the formula hadn't changed and that the factory might have gotten the recipe wrong for that particular batch. I got my money back for that. Now, after multiple cases of leftover food, each pack has a darker formula. I've spent a lot of money on this expensive meal hoping to go back to the original recipe shown in the photo to the left, but it doesn't seem to be happening. It's a shame because this food is in the low phosphate range and is one of the few foods I have been able to give my cat with her health issues. Why do these companies keep making changes to products when we rely on them?! This is an edit of my previous review. After a year of trying to find a different food that my cat would like, I took a chance and bought a few individual bags of this food to try again. To my lucky cat's great surprise, the food has regained its original color and I suspect its flavor as he happily eats it again. I have changed my original 2 stars to 4. Fingers crossed the recipe stays the same.
