Poor performance at a premium

I'll admit it. At the time of our purchase, it is one of the cheapest devices on the market. It's lightweight and I've never had any issues with sound on the mic or speaker, although it could be louder in certain situations. I keep my phone volume at maximum most of the time. Now for the bad. Materials - the usual cheap plastic. You would see a better quality $10 headset at any electronics store. Two of them broke my headband in less than a year. I had to rip open the zipper and tape it to secure. There is also no way to just replace the strip. The ear pads are pretty basic and fall apart. Replacements are expensive if you can find them. I would rate zero for durability and one for convenience. There's no way I would buy them for an entire department. Overall, I would not recommend this device. I use it with Polycom Soundpoint IP550. I don't understand why they are so expensive. Now that IP phones are going virtual on any PC and any USB headset can be used these things should be very cheap but even on ebay they are still expensive for what you get.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
