I was looking for a tool cabinet lighting solution so I gave this a try. I am very happy with these lights. I was afraid the motion sensors wouldn't pick up movement as close, ie within a foot or two, but they do. I attached small strips of plastic so I could pass the sensors on and put 4 in this cabinet, one in a drawer and one on each shelf. They work great. every week or two I just pull out the ends and take them home and reload them and then go back to work the next morning and they light up my tool closet for another week or two. The glue was good enough to stick to semi-rough wood without falling off. I sewed them together just to be sure. I ended up with a clip or two over the strip but the lights still worked great. I love them for their battery-free, motion-sensing, simple lighting solution for my mobile tool cabinet.
