I had some problems with this little device. It only seems to work when he likes it. I'd rather have it where I can say exactly what mode I want it to run in and let it do its job. I just need a 12v charger that will charge and turn off when fully charged. You don't need a lot of frills. This should do it, but the mode button doesn't work and sometimes it takes forever to work. I left it on battery for a few days and it eventually turned on and did its job. I don't know what the problem is. It was cheaper than others I found so I gave it a try. I don't recommend it, next time I'll spend a few bucks more and try something else. Maybe I got a bad one, it's hard to say. The power cable and battery cables are also quite short. It's a little annoying, but since it's only a 2-pin female connector I just threw an extension cord on it to save. Having batteries on your charging table is fine, but charging in a device such as a truck, tractor, car, etc. can be problematic without an extension cord.
