So I knew it wouldn't be the same as your regular tube toothpaste but here are some of my concerns. I need to sip water to brush my teeth or the toothpaste is too dry to put in my mouth even though I wet my toothbrush first. I may be using more than I need, but that's where my next problem lies. I feel like I need to use a generous amount of powder to cover my mouth really well to get the full effect. At this rate, it won't last as long as a regular tube of toothpaste. Also, the container is a little small/inconvenient to dip my brush in, but I wouldn't call that a deal breaker. Lastly (note I've never used charcoal toothpaste before) my issue with it is that it really accentuates every nook and cranny in my teeth. Although I usually brush my teeth very thoroughly (I also floss a lot), I've found that I really have to do my best to make sure there's no noticeable charcoal residue. However, toothpaste leaves a clean and fresh mouthfeel. All in all I'd say I'd buy it again in the non-charcoal version but not for the price and preferably in a larger capacity.
