Update: I contacted Revain and they emailed the seller asking them to send me a QR code for the app. Several days have passed and I have not received any reply from them. I have to give the Doctor one more star for this as this is poor service and the light on the Revain site is incorrectly presented as changing color and being dimmed when it isn't. As other reviewers have mentioned, no idea how to dim the lights and/or change colors. Supposedly there is a QR code that you can use to download an app that works with this light. I contacted Revain and asked them to send a message to the seller to see if I could get this QR code to try the app. But with the remote control you can only turn the light on and off. There are no color or dimming options on the remote, but there are six different fan speed settings. I was satisfied with the fan function. Installation was very easy. Another feature of this lamp is the white engine that you can see from below. I think this light would be better if it was all black. The light is very bright when it is on. It responds very well to the remote control. If it were me who could dim or change colors with a remote control, that would easily be a five star rating. For now I'm deducting a star because the product page gives the impression that you can use the remote to dim the light or change the color. Without having an app that connects to this light and having tried it, I cannot fully consider this light. I will come back and update my rating after I get a response from the seller. I hope they answer me and that the app really works because I want to buy another one of these lights. A bit concerned because one of the other reviewers said they have the app but can't connect it to the light. So until I have an application, I will refrain from an assessment. And I won't buy another one until I know the app can control dimming and color. Another issue that worries me is that if I buy a second one it will remote control both because I don't see any dip switches on the remote in the unit. So I think both are probably controlled by the same remote control. While it's not a deal killer, I really hope I can get this app and make it work.
